Year 6 Bowling

In order to strengthen the school’s connections with the local sports clubs. Year Six were invited to the Feniton Bowling Club. The children were given a series of coaching sessions and had fun participating within competition. It is hoped that this will encourage young people to view the sport as something which is aimed at all ages. At county and country level the current leaders are all in their late teens and early twenties.

Plans are afoot to raise an East Devon young person’s league. There are many of our youngsters who are otherwise not engaged within any extra- curricular sport who showed great promise on the morning. We are planning to become involved within the scheme in order to encourage the continuation of this game.
